Decision making

Input a patient’s data and the system will automatically assess whether the patient is suitable for microbiota transplantation and which strategy should be adopted.

  1. Create a new case in the “Case Management” and fill in the basic information of the case, such as name, ID number and so on.Then you can create a new “Decision-making Support” on this case.
  2. Start using the “Decision-making” function, fill in the relevant data and click to save, then the system will automatically evaluate whether the patient is suitable for microbiota transplantation and which strategy should be adopted.
  3. If you want to make multiple decisions on the same case, you can continue to select the case, create a new “Decision-making Support” and input data.

Treatment

Complete the user’s personal information and fill in treatment data.

  1. Before using the treatment support function, you need to go to the personal settings page of the system to complete the user’s personal information and upload the Certificate of Practicing Physician Qualification or clinical trial manager’s documents (certified by the hospital). The staff will review and notify the results within five working days.
  2. After the approval, the users can select an existing case or a new case, create a new “Treatment Support” on this case and fill in the relevant treatment data,the same as creating a decision support.

Evaluation

Evaluate the efficacyby comparing the patients’ data before and after treatment.

Before inputting the relevant data in the “Evaluation Support”, you need to mark the CRF as “completed” on the data entry page of the Treatment Support. Data like Evaluation Support, Safety Management (FMT,mini-FMT) and so on can only be input when the status of the Treatment Support is “completed”.

Follow-up and record whether the patients had adverse events after treatment.

  1. Safety management consists of two types of visits: “FMT” and “mini-FMT”. “FMT” and “mini-FMT” can be added many times to the same case. You just need to create the corresponding visit type.
  2. If the patient dies or repeatedly refuses to be followed-up, please create a new “Termination of Visit Record”, and explain the reason for terminating the follow-up. After choosing“death”, the case will no longer be followed-up.
